Konrad Jamrozik is Head of School, School of Population Health and Clinical Practice, University of Adelaide and was previously Professor of Evidence-Based Health Care and Head of the Division of Health Systems, Policy and Practice at the School of Population Health, The University of Queensland.
Prior to this, Professor Jamrozik worked at the Imperial College in London where he was Professor of Primary Care Epidemiology.
His broad experience in public health spans more than 20 years and includes stints in four continents at institutions including the University of Western Australia, the University of Papua New Guinea, Oxford University, Harvard Medical School and the World Health Organisation in Geneva.
Professor Jamrozik's research interests include the epidemiology, prevention and management of non-communicable diseases, such as vascular disease and major cancers. He has established an international profile in tobacco control and has particular expertise in the design and conduct of randomised controlled trials, especially in procedural care and health promotion.
Professor Jamrozik has authored more than 170 peer-reviewed scientific publications. He is an Associate Editor of the American Journal of Epidemiology.
